Israel-Premier Tech has told its riders the team is "engaged in meetings and conversations regarding the team identity and branding looking ahead to the future." In other words, the team is currently deciding whether or not to remove Israel from its name and branding. Sponsors – including bike brand Factor and co-sponsor Premier Tech – are now publicly advocating for a switch.

In a memo sent to riders and seen by Escape Collective, the team's general manager Kjell Carlström said the team's owners and senior management were in discussions over the future identity of the team, adding team management had "the best interests of our team members as our absolute priority" before promising to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

The war is coming home for Israel-Premier Tech
Riders are refusing to sign for the squad, morale is suffering, and rumours swirl over a name change and sponsors.
